First collective edition of the poetic works of the Protestant humanist and theologian Theodore de Bèze (1519-1605).
A copy of the second issue, the first part of which consists of quires from the original edition published in 1597 by Estienne, the rest having been completed by Jacob Stoer (cf. GLN-3960).
Angular staining and foxing to a few leaves. Reinforcement at the top of the title page and small marginal restoration to the next leaf.
