Beautiful edition of this great classic of military art, printed in Nuremberg, the Latin text followed by the French text.
It is decorated with an allegorical frontispiece, 5 large bands and 2 folding plates, one of which representing various devices of poliorcetics, all engraved in intaglio. The title page of the French text is also decorated with a copper engraved vignette.
A very nice copy in old vellum.
