First edition, decorated with a beautiful copper engraved frontispiece by Lucas after Courtonne and 33 folding plates.
The architect Jean Courtonne (1671-1739) built in the early 1720s in the capital the Hôtel de Matignon and the Hôtel de Noirmoutier (today the residence of the prefect of Paris), whose plans and elevation plates are included in his treatise.
