Chinese dish for the Arab export market, 18th century. Enamelled porcelain. Measurements: 38 cm (diameter). Although this dish was made in China, its stylistic features indicate that it was intended for the Arab export market. Its profuse decoration has a completely decorated rim and base, forming an overall floral motif with a large corolla made up of different types of petals. Each petal is decorated on the inside with other floral motifs. While the overall aesthetic is of Arabic pattern, the detailed decoration is entirely Chinese.
