PRINTING IN GREEK. - BIBLE. [In Greek] : Davidis regis ac prophetae psalmorum liber. Paris, Philippe-Denis Pierres, 1786. In-12, fawn calf, triple gilt fillet, fleuron at the corners, smooth spine decorated, green title page, interior roulette, gilt edges (Binding of the period). Beautiful typographical edition printed on two columns with fine Greek characters. It was established by the abbot Suère du Plan who says that this "pseautier grec [parait] sous une forme qui lui avait pas encore été donné". 6 pages of engraved music end the volume (Intonationes psalmorum). Antique note in Greek on one endpaper. Some light foxing. Corners rubbed.
