It includes, in separate pagination, the two books against Apion concerning the antiquity of the Jews, the book of the Maccabees and the Life of the author written by himself: this volume constitutes the second and last part of the edition of the Works of Flavius Josephus (Geneva, 1598), the first part containing the twenty books of the ancient Jewish history.
