Description
BAYONNE 1766 Coffee pot (chocolate pot modified in coffee pot) in plain silver tripod. It rests on notched feet with medallion attachments on a background of twisted channels simulating a shell. The body, of baluster form, is engraved at the bottom JL, on the sides LJ and AC. The spout, chiseled with channels, ends in a trefoil. The lid with double doucine finished by a dome is topped by a bud on a terrace of godrons. The handle is made of wood and riveted to a hood with a poly-lobed attachment.
