(binding of the time). Small wear at the head-cap of the first volume. Ex-libris Jn Bte Barnel and Mce Constantin. First endpapers partly detached, small gnawing on the back cover of the last volume. Wear to one spine. Some small old gnawing at the bottom of the boards. A good copy. The illustration consists of 13 portraits including 1 frontispiece and 2 folding plates out of 4 (lacks the 2 satirical engravings including the famous engraving of the ""Véritable Portrait du très fameux Seigneur messire Quinquempoix""). First edition of this chronological collection of all the political and financial events that took place during the Regency, especially on Law's system. A fine copy despite a small worm gallery in the lower margin of volume 3 without affecting the text.
