Set of 35 autograph letters or cards signed to Max-Philippe Delatte. Approximately 48 pp. of different sizes, from 1969 to 1985, with the envelopes kept. Beautiful and interesting correspondence. The set concerns the European Society of Culture founded in 1950 in Venice by Umberto Campagnolo whose French center was the Delatte bookstore 15 rue Gustave Courbet in Paris and the publication of the magazine Comprendre. Noël Devaulx mentions his candidacy for the SEC (1969), his political ideas (1975), his financial difficulties (1976), Amnesty International (1977), articles by Umberto Campagnolo (1977), Claude Aveline, J.J. Mayoux (1980), his new address in Nyons (1982), his book Le Manuscrit inachevé (1981), the reissue of his book Le Pressoir mystique (1982), his eye operation (1984), the publication of his book Le visiteur insolite (1985).
