Khanjar dagger, Iran qâjâr, 19th century Curved steel blade with double edge and central ridge, the heel inlaid with a gold mantling inscribing the dates 994 H / 1585 on one side and 1052 H / 1642 on the other accompanied by Arabic inscriptions. Curved walrus ivory handle carved with a soldier and a prince in a beaded medallion, the ends decorated with a fight of animals and palmettes. Scabbard lined with walrus ivory plates carved with a floral net integrating on one side a princely figure and an inscription in a medallion.
