Beautiful six-leaf folding screen with double-sided decoration
On the first side, deer and hinds in the Middle Tonkin region
On the second side, the sea bed (perhaps a later decoration)
Lacquer on wood panels, in six parts
Signature in Chinese and with his stamp, bottom right of the right panel
H. 150,5 cm - L. 35 cm (each panel)
Later varnish, attenuating the original relief
Probably restored at the bottom left of the left panel
Provenance: bought in the 1960s in Hanoi, then brought back to France
Private collection
