Fine fragment of red velvet counter-cut decorated in gold thread with the classic cintamani motif of Buddhist origin. Strips of stylized tiger skin are paired to form lozenges containing a central rosette and four groups of three pyramidal spheres, symbolizing Buddhist jewelry. Similar fabrics were executed with a high amount of variation in the combination of the decorative elements described.
