MONTPELLIER Covered earthenware vase, with piriform body with double bulge on pedestal. Blue and manganese decoration of two polylobed medallions; on one side representing a couple sitting under a tree and on the other side, a landscape with a building. The polylobes stand out on a background of imbrications of scales, and are surrounded by friezes composed of flowers in rosette, scrolls of ironwork motifs, lambrequins and oves.
