This beautiful album is composed of 34 sheets of drawings, including 5 on double page, made by F. GUILLAND, student of the imperial polytechnic school. These drawings, of a very high quality, were made in ink and watercolor and represent geometric figures, plans, sections, etc. related to the courses of swords. Each sheet bears the stamp of the École impériale polytechnique, repeated twice, one with Guilland's autograph signature, the second with the signature of another student (two signatures, Gosselin and Fabre).
