1974 MIG MIDGET Chassis: GAN 513 981 8G French Carte Grise Desirable Round Wheel Arches version. Engine 1275 cm3 Latest version with stainless steel bumpers. 12 000 / 18 000€ Without reserve Introduced in 1964, the MG Midget is a roadster based on the Austin-Healey Sprite. The intentioń was to make a lightweight vehicle, providing good driving sensations for young people. When it came out, it was powered by a 948 cm3 block, then a 1098 cm3 from 1962, which developed 56 horsepower. This was more than enough power for its light weight of 700 kg. Between the USA and England, the MG Midget was a commercial success, selling no fewer than 260,000 models before its production ended in 1979. The example we are offering is a Mark III Round Wheel Arches, first registered on March 14, 1974, and equipped with the famous 1275 cm3 engine. Delivered new in the UK, it is presented in an attractive navy blue hue, with the steering wheel on the left (modified during its life). The test drive revealed a pleasant car, with kart-like handling and a well-functioning engine. The interior is in good condition, with clean seats and a crack-free dashboard. Ideal for neo-collectors as well as the more discerning, the Midget is packed with charms and benefits from a wide availability of spare parts. 1974 MIG MIDGET Chassis: GAN 513 981 8G French registration Desirable Round Wheel Arches version. 2001 Peugeot 406 Coupé 3.0 V6 210 Settentani Chassis VF38CXFXA81218769 158,000 KM Limited series Future Collector French registration 8000 / 12 000€ No reserve Rare but highly appreciated, Peugeot coupes are the result of a long tradition of body variations based on the Sochaux automaker's sedans. No exception to the rule, the 406 model unveiled at the end of the 1990s is accompanied by a little coupé brother, the latest addition to the long marriage between Peugeot and Pininfarina. With its Italian lines and French sturdiness, the 406 coupé was a huge hit with the press and users alike, so much so that over 100,000 models were produced, compared with the 70,000 planned. Available with either a 4-cylinder or a 3.0L V6, the new model is more GT than sporty. The striking resemblance to the Ferrari 456 GT lends the nickname "French Ferrari" to our national pride, especially in the 210 hp V6 version. To celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Italian coachbuilder's creation, an exclusive "Settantanni" version of the 406 coupé is produced in a limited edition of 1,200, numbered on the dashboard. Numbered 546 out of 1200, our example was first registered in June 2001 in its original "Hyperion" metallic blue configuration, with white leather interior. The 210 hp 3.0L V6, mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox, gives the Franco-Latin coupé smooth, responsive acceleration. Always followed up in the network or by specialists, our example underwent a BSI change. This operation increased the car's odometer reading by 65,000 km in 2011 (Cf. Peugeot certificate). So, although our car has 223,000 km on the odometer, it actually has only 158,000 km. A lot of work has been carried out recently: coils, clutch, crankshaft seal, cradle silent blocks, power steering. On a positive note, the timing gear is only 5,000 km old. A small crack on the front bumper. An elegant low-cost body, the Peugeot 406 Coupé is a good all-rounder and was a real gamble for Peugeot, after the success of the mythical 504 coupé. Here's a worthy heir to that Sochaux tradition. 2001 Peugeot 406 Coupé 3.0 V6 210 Settentani Chassis VF38CXFXA81218769 158,000 KM Exceptional car Limited series Future Collector French registration 8000 / 12 000€ Without reserve Rare but highly appreciated, Peugeot coupés are the result of a long tradition of bodywork variations based on the Sochaux manufacturer's saloon.
