Strasbourg Round covered earthenware sugar pot with polychrome decoration on the body of a seated Chinese man holding a bowl in front of a table on a terrace framed by rocks and leafy shrubs and on the lid of a standing Chinese man holding an insect in flight at the end of a thread on a terrace bordered by rocks and shrubs, brown net on the edges. Marked: IH T I06. Manufacture of Joseph Hannong. 18th century. H. 12 cm, D. 10,5 cm. Label Vandermeersch on the reverse.
