Autograph letter signed, 2 pages in 8°, dated 'March 17, 1858,' probably addressed to the publisher Barbera to whom he speaks of the preparation of a new edition of Tassoni's Secchia rapita, also discussing the notes, 'punctuation and spelling,' and the dedicatory 'which is made by Preti but important because the reasons and criticisms of the poem are discussed, and is made with Tassoni's ideas by a man of Tassoni's friendship.'
