An account of the author's pilgrimage to Mecca in 1973 and his Umra in 1974, from which he drew an experience of the application of the religious rules inherent to any pilgrim in the accomplishment of his duty, while at the same time giving a description of the cities of Mecca and Medina.
Activist of the Moroccan independence within the "Istiqlal" party, educator and historian, he was led to occupy high responsibilities in the Moroccan Ministry of Religious Affairs.
