Jules Chéret Dancer lifting her skirt (Luminous Pantomimes), 1895 Original color lithograph on fine wove paper Signed in the plate Size 39 x 29 cm The sheet bears the publisher's stamp and the lithograph is also authenticated by the dry stamp of the publisher, L'Imprimerie Chaix. The first edition was created in 1892 for the Musée Grévin for the show "Pantomimes lumineuses". The lithograph was published by Les Maîtres de l'Affiche in the Imprimerie Chaix in 1895. It was part of this eponymous portfolio (plate n°41) which represented the reproductions of the most beautiful illustrated posters of the great artists of the time.
