Automobile/Baudry de Saunier/Michelin/Vélo.... "La Locomotion". This extremely rare magazine is here almost complete of its three years in three large format bindings (32x24), very illustrated. The work of the irreplaceable Baudry de Saunier (1865-1938), this monument to three major years of motor sport, from the beginning in October 1901 to the end of June 1933, bears witness to the prodigious effervescence of a new, groping, petulant world. Namely: a) Year 1901, from number 1 (Oct 5 to 13 of Dec 28), with a kind of number 0, called specimen of 31/8/1901, and at the end of the year of two special issues, a special Salon, and a special Dion; b) Year 1902, from 14 (Jan 4, 1902) to 65 (Saturday Dec 27, 1902), that is to say 832 pages; c) Year 1903, from 66 (3/1/1903) to 91 (June 27). That is, the first semester. The magazine will become "La Vie Automobile" in August. We enclose a sample letter and envelope of subscription sent by Baudry in 1910.
