Upper part of prabhamandala, South India, 19th century L. 200 cm. Copper alloy In the form of an openwork basket handle, the top of the prabhamandala is surmounted by a kirtimukha head with exorbitant eyes and visible fangs. Under it, two makara mouths spit out scrolls, two other makara mouths answer them at the bottom, on either side of the arch.
