Dong Son drum, Vietnam (2nd-1st century BC) H. 21,9 cm - L. 35,7 cm. Copper alloy The center of the plate is occupied by a star in slight relief. Several concentric registers extend to the periphery, which is left without decoration. Geometric birds, hatchings, dots in relief and frieze evoking the Greek. The sound box has horizontal registers decorated with triangles in relief. Provenance: French collection, acquired in the 1990s.
