Standing adorned Buddha, Cambodia, 17th century H. 127 cm. Lacquered and gilded wood, inlaid with glass The Buddha's face is serene, with almond-shaped half-closed eyes, lips pressed together, and eyebrows in relief. The decoration of the Buddha's robe is in molded lacquer and simulates textile and jewelry. Missing and visible accidents. Cambodian Buddhas of this size are rare. Provenance: 2005-2022.
