Standing Buddha, Burma 18-19th century H. 144 cm. Lacquered and gilded wood, glass inlay The Buddha is depicted standing, dressed in a monastic robe with numerous wide pleats, characteristic of the Mandalay region. The face of the Buddha is serene, with almond-shaped open eyes, joined lips, raised eyebrows and elongated earlobes. Missing parts and visible accidents. Provenance: 2005-2022.
