Ox, Eastern Han Dynasty China (206 BC - 220 AD), Gansu, Wuwei District H. 25.5 cm - L : 29 cm. Wood (spruce), remains of polychromy. The different elements of the body were carved separately and assembled (horns, legs, tail). The ox stands firmly on its four legs.
