Pierre Yovanovitch

Cio-Cio-San Borrowing its name from the main character in Madame Butterfly, the chair combines the strength of its beechwood frame with the aesthetic characteristics of a butterfly taking flight. The top of the legs and bottom of the seat rails have been cut in a curved fashion to create a sense of detachment from the floor, as if the piece is ready to float. The natural color of the beech is reflected in the carvings on the legs. Solid beech, malachite colored fabric made of 70% linen and 30% cotton 90 x 55 x 44 cm
