"LostIdentity is a project that I have been working on for many years and that deals with the question of identity. I chose to address this question, which is more critical and relevant than ever today, using two major elements of our living environment: light and a chair.
If the seat is wired and suspended from the ceiling with the light bulb on... is it a chandelier? Or is it just a hanging chair with 2 bulbs on it?
If you found this chair on the street with 2 holes in its seat you would probably say to yourself: this is a useless chair! Why the holes? What happened? etc. but you would never think of it as a lighting chair, or a chair with missing parts. All of these questions and more apply to the evolution of society, personality, function, politics, etc."
