Metis
Who is made half of one thing and half of another.
Half wood, half textile, half contemporary, half traditional. On the base of the Atelier chair I added a two-tone rope work like a traditional weaving of mulching or seat caning that can be found in our French provinces and elsewhere in the world.
Like a mixture of civilization and culture, with the difference that the work is not on the seat like a classic weaving, but around the structure, as if to better envelop and dress it, to put it in tension, to hold it and to retain it.
