BOIZOT, ACCORDING TO. "Bonaparte I Consul Bust in patinated bronze on pedestal marked on the back "Cast on the cookie found in the demolitions of St. Leu, cast and chiseled by Ch. MERET, Paris 1862". H : 26,5 cm B.E. The castle, property of Louis and Hortense Bonaparte during the Empire, was inhabited by Queen Hortense. Acquired by the Prince de Condé, the latter died there in obscure circumstances in 1830. It was demolished in 1837 and the park was subdivided.
