Original late 19th century American cowboy outfit including: - Stetson hat in beige taupe felt, marked inside in gold letters "STETSON amp; C0 A.H. ALBIEN Custer City Dak.", the sweatband disconnected but present and has the markings "Trade Mark Clear Nutria J.B. STETSON amp; C°" and "The Fray trade mark Improved sweat patent Jan 1st 78" (1878), under the sweatband of the hat is visible the hatmaker's shop label well marked "John B. Stetson amp; C°", with the size "7 3/8", - buckskin trapper shirt, fringed sleeves, embroidered bib with nine buttons, - short jacket of beige canvas, collar with a button and closure at the belt, wallet pocket inside, - pair of spurs in damascened iron, model with small teeth typical of the manufacture of Augustus Buermann Manufactoring amp; C°, around 1880/1890 - pair of Batwing chaps, embossed and riveted leather, basket belt marked " J.S. COLLINS amp; CO Cheyenne Wyo.", two pockets and leather bangs on each outer side, - holster belt with loops for cartridges type 44-40 and beige leather revolver holster, marked manufacturer (letters M amp; D intertwined) on the belt and holster, flat silver iron buckle, with a barb, worn, some stains and wear, otherwise good condition, United States of America late 19th century. This complete and untouched outfit comes from the family of a French adventurer who emigrated to the United States around 1870.
