The copper-engraved hors-texte illustrations include a title-frontispiece and a portrait of Rabelais by W. de Broen, a copper-engraved vignette of the dedicatee's coat of arms and 4 fold-out plates (3 views of La Devinière and Carte du Chinonois), all in volume 1. As is often the case, volumes 5 and 6 are bound in one volume. Some blank leaves reported by Cohen are not present. The collation of this copy differs from that given by Plan, although it features the signed portrait and frontispiece identifying the original edition, and the date 1711 on each title page.
