A Chinese Bronze Burial Mirror, Tang Dynasty Circa 618-907 A.D. The discoid piece cast in relief to the back with two ducks, a pelican and phoenix amongst scrolling stems of foliage centred by a pierced knop handle. Patinated varying in colour from green to red, orange & black, with traces of corrosion and cuprite. 4¼'' (11 cm) in diameter, mounted on a purpose made display stand.
