Idoma ( Nigeria ) Dance crest made of heavy wood with a deep brown patina, representing a young girl's face surmounted by four twisted braids. This type of crest belongs to the Oglinye society according to Francois Neyt who describes this sculpture on page 122 of his work on the arts of Benue. Reproduced on page 125, III.41.
