dating: Mid 19th century provenance: France, Round, rifled (clean bores with perfect rifling), browned, turn-off, 11 mm cal barrels, marked 'C'; boxlock type frames finely engraved with fawn's head and hound among floral motifs, foldaway triggers, grooved piston-holders and sight. Grooved and carved wooden butts. Iron butt-plates with primer case. Good quality and rare with rifled barrels. length 17 cm.
