MONTIERS Bulbous ceramic vase with strong metallic iridescence decorated with fish among seaweeds and fantastic animals. The neck is slightly narrowed with stylized plant motifs and has two small handles, the mouth of square section. Signed in the decoration, and marked "MONTIÈRES/ BD" under the base. Circa 1920. Height : 18 Height : 18 - Width : 17 cm Manufacture established in 1915 in Amiens, the artistic direction is given to Jean Barol, former pupil of Clément Massier, during 3 years. It owes its fame to the technique of iridescent enamels.
