HAMILTON, 1943
Marine chronometer type 22 made in Lancaster in 1943 for the US Navy. In its mahogany case. Round gilded brass case on a gimbal, the bezel decorated with diamond points. Signed silvered dial with painted Arabic numerals, seconds counter at 6 o'clock and power reserve indicator on 49 hours but in reality 56 hours of reserve.
Movement with mechanical winding signed Hamilton tuype 22 - 21 Jewels BU Ships 1943.
