Complete set of the archangels consisting of the title engraving and images of the archangels numbered from 1 to 10. Each plate signed Thomas de Leu excudit. Image with engraved title within an ornamental border. Latin verses etched in the plate beneath the image. Reference: Robert-Dumesnil, X, 173-184. / Dimensions: 18,70 x 12,80 cm / Condition: Excellent impressions with nice plate tone. On the full sheets of laid paper with wide margins. All plates except title page (some larger restored tears) in good condition. A couple of the other prints with repaired tears in outer margins who are also a bit thumbed. Very good inside plate border in museum quality passe-partouts. / Literature: Robert-Dumesnil, X, 173-184.
