A CASED 120 BORE SIX-SHOT PERCUSSION PEPPERBOX REVOLVER, BIRMINGHAM PROOF MARKS, NO. 338, MID-19TH CENTURY, with fluted barrel group retaining traces of case-hardening colour, scroll-engraved German silver action fitted with engraved blued bar hammer, safety-catch, and blued trigger, figured walnut butt, engraved numbered German silver back-strap, and engraved blued trigger-guard: in its brass-bound mahogany case, lined in plum velvet (areas of light wear), the lid with shaped brass vacant escutcheon on the outside, with some accessories including small copper powder-flask, bullet mould, loading rod and nipple-wrench, 8.0 cm barrels
