Émile PERRAUD-HARRY (1878-1938) Bulldog Proof in bronze, signed in hollow on the terrace at the back and bearing the founder's stamp Claude Valsuani Cire Perdue on the left side 12,5 x 16,5 x 8 cm Provenance: Caroline Reboux, milliner of the Princess of Metternich and the Empress Eugenie Paul Reboux writer his son Private collection Paris A student of Emmanuel Fremiet, the artist devoted himself to animal sculpture. His small bronzes were prized by collectors and some of his works are preserved in museums: Musée Ste Croix in Poitiers and Musée d'Orsay in Paris. He exhibited in the Salons from 1901.
