Honoré DAUMIER (1808 - 1879) attributed to Head of a man with a top hat Proof in bronze with brown patina, bearing the founder's stamp Claude Valsuani lost wax on the back and on the right side numbered 14 / 30 17 x 11.5 x 10.5 cm Height: 23,2 cm with the wooden base Posthumous edition Note: Originally purchased by the painter Sam Szafran in 1963, the clay head was sold to Joseph Hermann Hirshhorn who authorized Pierre Matisse to make a bronze edition of 30 copies by Valsuani in 1968.
