Edition at 275 numbered copies on Arches vellum; n°218 signed by Picasso. Beautiful copy on vellum of this book richly illustrated by Picasso. Private secretary of Picasso, Sabartès was also one of the artist's closest friends, whom he knew since their childhood spent in Barcelona. This book is an introduction to the work and thought of Picasso, who personally chose among his works those that would be reproduced in it.
