Paris, "Les bibliophiles du Papier", 1933; in -4, paperback, folder and case (case in bad condition). One hundred and thirteen lithographs in the text by L. Jonas and numerous facsimiles including two portraits, 12 pages of the manuscript, three sheets of proofs corrected by Balzac's hand and the color reproduction of the cover of the original edition. Limited edition of 110 copies on vellum. This one also includes 1/ 3 original pencil sketches by Jonas, reproduced in-text in the book. 2/ A suite (in "bon à tirer") of 113 illustrations in text, signed in pencil by the artist, including 7 proofs in two states and two, respectively in 4 and 8 states. 3/ A suite on Arches of 17 plates refused of which one plate and 3 states and one in double state. 4/ The "menu" of the "Société" illustrated with a portrait-medallion of Birotteau in 3 states of which one in "bon à tirer", the other in the final state.
