Disimieu, sometimes spelled Dizimieu, reports to King Louis XIII on the faithful execution of the mission he had been entrusted with. He addresses to M. de Montmorency some remonstrances on his conduct, "having made Monsieur de Montmorency understand on all the points which are contained in this letter the dissatisfaction that your Majesty has with his conduct, of which I found him very distressed, because things were represented to your Majesty contrary to his intentions, and that even he was made to understand them or that he had never thought [...]".
