Magnificent scene of jubilation worthy of the Satyricon of Petronius, contemporary poet and friend of Lucius Murena. One immediately notices the quality of Philippe Delaby's drawing, all in documentary precision: the scenery, the costumes, the physiognomy of the guests. Everything is worked with an incredible meticulousness, a titanic work which undoubtedly makes Murena one of the masterpieces of the Belgian School.
