Born in 1955, Teun Berserik is part of the great tradition of the Dutch Ligne Claire impelled by Joost Swarte in the early 1970s. A classic line close to Theo Van Den Boogard, Dick Briel or Henk Kuipers, but also to the more underground group of Aunt Leny Presenteert with Marc Smeets, Aart Clerkx, Ever Meulen, Evert Geradts. Teun Berserik's collaboration with Peter Van Dongen on Rampokan will naturally lead him to continue on Blake and Mortimer. Perfectly executed plates, especially in the settings and the representation of the famous swordfish in action.
