MANUSCRIT. - BOOK OF HOURS. Middle XIVth - North of France (middle XIVth). Small in-12 (60 x 82 mm), full old vellum, handled and soiled, traces of laces. Manuscript of (300) leaves in vellum skin, in Latin with black ink, with 12 lines, fully ruled. Contains: Office of the Blessed Virgin. F. 1 to 94. Office of the Passion. F. 95 to 167. Vigils of the dead. F. 167 to 229. Oraisons des Saints. F. 230 to 271. Devotional prayers to the Virgin (written in French). F. 272 to 300. This manuscript is decorated with scrolls and filigrees on each page and with numerous initials, including 10 large ones (28 x 28 mm), and 15 small historiated initials (12 x 10 mm). The gold highlights are numerous. The leaves are slightly soiled; the soiling is more pronounced on the first leaf; on leaf 85, a small tear with slight loss of text. There are 17 leaves missing, which should contain the illuminations and sometimes a few lines of text: before the 1st leaf, and between the leaves: 41-42; 49-50; 56-57; 63-64; 70-71; 85-86; 94-95; 123-124; 138-139; 141-142; 151-152; 155-156; 159-160; 166-167; 229-230 and 271-272.
