In-folio, (12) ff. 586 pp. and (1) f., calf with a large cold decoration on wood, spine ribbed, later red title page (contemporary). Expanded edition of this bibliography of the writers of the Society of Jesus begun by the Spaniard Ribadeneyra in 1608 and completed by Philippe Alegambe from Brussels for the years 1608 to 1642. The latter also added biographies of the most outstanding men of the Society and a list of Jesuits martyred in defense of their faith. Handwritten bookplate of a Jesuit college in Ghent, handwritten note on endpapers, modern bookplate in Greek. Binding rubbed, with restorations and missing parts. Angular stains on a few pages, a few pages foxed.
