Blueberry. India ink and black felt pen for this nice original plate #26 from Blueberry volume 17, Angel Face. Superb composition, dense and detailed. The inking is splendid, supported by black flat tints and perfectly controlled shading. The power and the rigor of the line exalt the staging and the cutting. Burled face, short hair and powerful hands, the hero appears several times. The settings are sumptuous, especially in this 6th panel illustrating President Grant's office in a very cinematographic angle.
