ROMAN ART - 1st CENTURY Acephalous sculpture of a victorious god or general, standing in contraposto. The smooth and indented cuirass is composed of three rows of rounded plates (some decorated with volutes) that fall on the hips. A tunic falls in folds and draped over the thighs. The split sleeves cover the upper arm. He is holding his paludamentum (coat) on his left shoulder, the right shoulder shows the attachment of the cuirass. The head must have been set in place.
