1969 JAGUAR

"Serial number 1R10203 Good condition Matching Colors / Matching Numbers American Title, cleared Described as "the most beautiful car in the world" by Enzo Ferrari, the Jaguar E-Type is a motoring legend for its sportiness, elegance and design. Introduced at the 1961 Geneva Motor Show, the E-Type was one of the first truly inexpensive and very fast sports cars. Initially built with a 3.8L in-line 6-cylinder engine from the XK, the E-Type was upgraded to a larger 4.2L engine in 1964. The car was presented in two versions: a coupe and a convertible, both of which featured a long, centrally-located bonnet. The Jaguar E-Type should be called the Jaguar XKE because it was imported to the US from the factory and was the first car to be built in the USA. The Jaguar E-Type we present should be called Jaguar XKE because it was imported to the US when it left the factory and this was the name of the E-Types across the Atlantic. Unveiled under a beautiful red dress, our example is a roadster first registered in 1969, it is therefore part of the Series II of the model proposed only in 6 cylinders 4.2L with a driving comfort superior to its predecessor. An expert's report from last June describes the numerous mechanical works carried out on the beautiful English car so that it can take to the road with peace of mind. Often considered the best driving version of the E-Type, the Series II combines beauty, comfort and power in the best tradition of its predecessor."
